This series of photos, taken of my native Santa Ynez valley, was left forgotten in a barn on our family's ranch for years. The result is an organic patina as the elements corrode the chemical composition of the photograph. That process, devoid of human interference, is a glimpse of nature's hand with a paintbrush. Funnily enough, it seems to want to destroy its own image.
